Momofuku

I absolutely love all the new and unique places to eat in New York. Tonight we are going to Momofuku located on 13th st and 2nd Avenue in the East Village. We are trying the Milk bar which at first i thought meant it was a gay bar, but it's actually a desert bar. Seasonal menus created by two local women include items like soft serve ice cream flavored with red licorice or gummy bear or appealing to me is banana cake* -
banana cream, hazelnut crunch, gianduja fudge. YUM.

Notte's Bon Ton is the devil

My dad has been buying cakes from this place forever. They are the devil. Pure sugary buttery melt in your mouth heaven. I curse my father for bringing a box of these treats home, plus a large birthday cake for me and my brother, plus a smaller cake if that wasn't enough. I have managed to eat around 1/2 of it and am sure i have just gained 10 pounds in the process. I am now addicted to high doses of sugar and in painful withdrawal.
