When you spend your days living it up and working non stop during festivals.. you get festival stomach. You eat breakfast if your lucky at noon which usually consists of coffee and something shoved into your mouth, then lunch near dinner time which again if your lucky is something of substance, and dinner becomes beer and yam fries or left over baguettes from the local bakeries that donate to the volunteer centre. It really isn't a sustaining diet, but you do survive.
I think roving healthy food vendors during festivals would be amazing for staff and volunteers alike. Kind of like lunch trucks on movie sets. Of course vancouver bylaws would probably not allow it and neither would Granville Island..but how much nicer would life be if that existed?
Throw in a roving masseuse and your set!
