Well i have heard a few words spoken about this place in passing before.. little did i know.. it's 2 blocks from my work. HELLO NUBA! My new favorite Lebanese restaurant.
After two years in Calgary and having Aida's restaurant withdrawal i have finally found a replacement for those Baba & Hummus cravings.
I had the falafel plate which included fresh crunchy falafels, hummus, pita, green salad, and tabouli salad. The service was amazing and the atmosphere totally relaxing.
Power lunch anyone?

My friends still fly, and i don't fly. It is rare to capture or even see the contrails like this of another aircraft.. so i thought i would share it with you. It's always captivating when you do get to see a massive aircraft ripping by you in the calm atmosphere.

Sea Forts / velvia
The Maunsell Sea Forts were small fortified towers built in the Thames and Mersey estuaries during World War II to help defend the United Kingdom, named after their designer, Guy Maunsell. They were decommissioned in the late 1950s and later used for other activities. One became the Principality of Sealand; boats visit the remaining forts occasionally, and a consortium called Project Redsands is planning to conserve one at Redsand.
