HEADS UP
The majority of country/sponsor pavilions/houses pack up on March 1, so if there are ones you want to see, these are your last few days. Ones that will be open during the Paralympic Games (March 12-21) include: LiveCity Downtown/Canada House/Centreplace Manitoba, Canada Northern House, BC Hydro Power Smart Village and BC’s Robson Square celebration site. Rumour has it the BC Pavilion and the Zip line at Robson Square may stay open, but this isn’t confirmed.
Life is truly beautiful. As i was sitting in the Queen Elizabeth theatre listening to the hauntingly beautiful renditions of Neil Young's songs i realized how lucky i am again. I guess it didn't really go away but sometimes just sitting still and absorbing is good for the soul. I have been on the go go go timeline and i have just started to have more time for myself again and it feels nice. We are ramping up for the Closing Ceremonies now and i am really excited for it as well. In 9 days a lot of my new friends will be leaving town but they go with ever lasting memories and the knowledge that our paths will cross again, as they already do in random spots in the beautiful city.
The sun is shining. What more can you ask for?
