Optimism

I promise myself to be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind. To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person i meet. To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them. To look on the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true.To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.

Were going to be in the Hudson

I am still utterly amazed by this accident.. and the the 3D video graphics for this is great. I am still waiting to see real video footage from local cameras but i guess they won't be making that public anytime soon. I still think this accident was handled with the utmost proffessionalism and quick decision making that makes a great pilot.

i can't reach you.

i can't reach you., originally uploaded by manatee!.

Life gets busy when you have a full time job, school, and an art show coming up. The excuses to not go to yoga pile up and i realize now are ridiculous. I am sitting in bed drinking my tea when i could be stretching and sweating. That movement in turn would reduce the overall stress i would be feeling in the rest of my day. I do look forward to Sunday but today i will make it to Yoga after work, and then try and figure out out the frame my photos for this show. I have no idea how to do this but i will do it.

Art-Sea Nov 14th @ Vancouver Aquarium (my photos will be hanging)

"Art-Sea" will be held on November 14, 2009 and the one and only Vancouver Aquarium. In addition to a fantastic venue, I have hand selected 30 artists who will show and sell over 250 pieces of unique artwork ranging in mediums from acrylic, oil, collage, to photography. Each artist will be present and more than happy to answer any questions or help you pick out that perfect piece just in time for the Christmas season. Further, we have organized a silent auction, walking art, music, hors d'oeuvres, and bar service. This should be one of the best art showcases in town and just to add that cherry on top, we are donating partial proceeds to a great organization; The ArtsUmbrella. This spectacular group of people helps offer arts programs to underpriviledged children in the lower mainland. How could you not feel good about attending or buying some art? Everyone wins.

So, if you aren't busy on November 14, grab a ticket from Clubzone.com and make an appearance at "Art~Sea." The turtles, dolphins, seahorses, and sharks will surely appreciate it!

See you there!

WINDOW HEAD

WINDOW HEAD, originally uploaded by Michael D. Hawley.

I am officially and East Vanner again. Main is my new domain and i will be wandering the streets looking for my new favorites, or just going to my old favorites. I am very happy to be leaving the emptiness that is West Vancouver where people hide in large houses and treat people like crap when actually leave them.

BC Population Distribution Nightshade

95% of BC's population lives on less than 1% of BC's landbase as this highlights.

Nearly all live within 25km of a highway. Speaks to the rugged nature of our mountainous province.
